Stewart Pierson, DPM
Dr. Stewart Pierson is a graduate of Arizona State University where he graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Health in 2008. He went on to complete his medical training at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014.
Dr. Pierson completed his surgical residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida in 2017 where he served as Chief Resident. His residency training included rotations in Wound Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Pathology, Vascular & Plastic surgery, as well as other surgical and non-surgical specialties. He is highly trained in diabetic foot care, advanced wound care, and limb-salvage techniques.
Dr. Pierson is licensed and certified to practice podiatric medicine and surgery in Alabama and received his certification through the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners.
Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Pierson was a past KSUCPM Presidential Scholarship recipient. Dr. Pierson is also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, 2006 – present.
In Dr. Pierson’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, Chera, and their 4 children. He also enjoys mountain biking, gardening, reading and is in the process of writing his first novel.
